About Swamp Attack Online
Most defence games hand you a weapon that never runs dry and then try to build tension out of enemy numbers alone. Swamp Attack Online does it with one omission instead: there is no reload key. Nothing on the keyboard loads your gun. You reload by stopping, so every reload is a decision to stop shooting while alligators are still walking up your porch steps.
The shotgun makes that decision expensive. It loads one shell every 0.7 seconds, the way a pump gun does, and firing again cancels the process — you keep whatever you managed to push in. Six shells at level one, so a full load from empty takes 4.2 seconds. Wave after wave, you gamble: three shells now and back into the fight, or the full six and hope nothing reaches the door.
You never move. You are a man in a cap in a rocking chair on a wooden porch, and your whole physical freedom is an aiming arc from −55° to 65°. Everything else is resource management across 18 stages, 44 waves and 914 scripted enemies, plus an Endless Mode that opens only once stage 18 is dead. It was published on 25 March 2020 by Kiz10 and carries a 2 out of 5 from 118 votes on Kiz10's own site, the only public rating it has. And because the name invites the confusion: this is not the Swamp Attack with 100 million downloads. There is a section below on how the two differ.
The gun that never runs out, and the two that do
The three weapons are not a power ladder. They are three different bargains with ammunition, and the game explains none of it.
| Weapon | Key | Damage, level 1 → 5 | Magazine | Reserve per stage | Reload |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shotgun | 1 | 5 → 10, split across 5 pellets | 6 → 10 shells | Unlimited | 0.7 s per shell, interruptible |
| Assault rifle | 2 | 1 → 2 per bullet, 10 bullets a second | 40 rounds | 1 → 5 magazines (40 → 200 rounds) | 0.7 s, whole magazine |
| Flamethrower | 3 | 1.5 → 2.6 damage per second of contact | 300 fuel | 1 → 5 tanks (300 → 1,500) | 0.7 s |
The shotgun is the only one that can never be emptied for good. The rifle and the flamethrower carry a hard reserve that resets at the start of a stage and not before, so spending them is spending them: burn 200 rounds in stage 14's ninety-enemy wave and the rest of that stage is shotgun-only. That is also why both start locked, and become usable only when you buy the first level of their damage line, 400 gold each. The same rule holds the fridge, the paper plane and the acid rain behind 1,000 gold apiece. Only the shotgun and the dynamite are yours from the first wave.
Three million alligators, and 32 deaths in seventy-eight years
The first enemy you meet, and the one in more waves than any other, is an alligator. The real numbers behind that cabin over dark water are stranger than the game's.
Alligators were in genuine trouble within living memory: Louisiana closed its season completely from 1962 to 1972 to let them recover. Today the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries puts the wild population at more than 3 million, up from fewer than 100,000 fifty years ago, with nearly 1 million more on farms; Florida's wildlife agency estimates about 1.3 million of every size, across all 67 counties. What turned it around is not what people assume. More than 80% of Louisiana's coastal wetland is privately owned, so the state built a controlled harvest that gave landowners an economic reason to keep the marsh wet rather than drain it. Since 1972 that programme has taken over 1.1 million wild alligators and collected more than 11 million eggs, and the population rose anyway, because the habitat became worth keeping.
Now the part the swamp-horror genre gets wrong. Florida's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has logged every unprovoked alligator bite since 1948. As of February 2026 the total is 500 bites in seventy-eight years: 347 needing medical care beyond first aid, 153 minor, 32 fatal. Recent years run from ten to twenty — 23 in 2023, 11 in 2024, 13 in 2025. Roughly one bite a year per 100,000 alligators in the state.
One detail lands oddly well. FWC's own figures say a third of alligator nests are destroyed by predators, mainly raccoons. This game made a raccoon in a canoe its fastest and hardest-hitting regular enemy, presumably as a joke. In the actual swamp, the raccoon really is the alligator's problem.
Where the gold goes, and why you will replay stages
Eleven upgrade lines, five levels each. Buying every level of everything costs 77,400 gold; you begin with five levels already owned, so the real bill is 75,900.
| Upgrade | Level 1 → 5 | Level 1 | All five |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cabin health (base 100) | 130 → 300 | 300 | 6,700 |
| Shotgun damage | 5 → 10 | 150 | 6,450 |
| Shotgun shells | 6 → 10 | 150 | 6,450 |
| Rifle damage | 1 → 2 | 400 | 6,700 |
| Rifle magazines | 1 → 5 | 400 | 6,700 |
| Flamethrower damage | 1.5 → 2.6 | 400 | 6,700 |
| Flamethrower tanks | 1 → 5 | 400 | 6,700 |
| Dynamite sticks | 4 → 8 | 400 | 5,800 |
| Fridge (seconds / slow) | 8 s at 0.6 → 12 s at 0.3 | 1,000 | 8,400 |
| Paper plane damage | 3 → 5 | 1,000 | 8,400 |
| Acid rain (seconds / tick) | 8 s at 0.15 → 12 s at 0.25 | 1,000 | 8,400 |
A clean run through all eighteen stages pays roughly 14,350 gold — under a fifth of what maxing everything costs, so the campaign is built to be replayed five times over. Stage 1 pays exactly 80 gold and the cheapest upgrade costs 150, which sets the rhythm from the first minute.
Cabin health is the upgrade that shows its work: buy it and armour plates appear bolted to the shack, one at level 1, three at level 2, five at level 3, six at level 4. Two things break the difficulty curve. Stages 13 to 17 are each a single enormous wave of 70, 80, 90, 95 and 100 enemies, with up to ten on screen at once. And stage 12 sends eight tank bosses, 500 health apiece, three at a time — 2,000 gold from that wave alone.
Not the Outfit7 game: what this actually is
If you searched for Swamp Attack and landed here, this is the honest version. Swamp Attack is a mobile game credited on Google Play to Moving Eye, package name com.outfit7.movingeye.swampattack, first listed in 2014: 4.6 stars from 2.68 million reviews, over 100 million downloads, 510 levels across 10 episodes and more than 90 monsters. Swamp Attack Online is a browser game published by Kiz10 six years later, with 18 stages, 3 weapons, 4 throwables and 6 enemy types. The distributor listing that carries it also carries a description that is, word for word, the mobile game's store text — worth knowing before you assume the two are related. They are not the same game, and this is not a port of that one.
What it really is, is a sibling of another game on this site. Kingdom Tower Defense, also from Kiz10, runs on the same Construct 2 project: this swamp build still ships the older game's menu and gameplay music under their original file names, and both save progress under a two-letter code plus a month, SG0419 there and SA0220 here. Kingdom Tower Defense gives you infinite arrows. Swamp Attack Online takes them away and hands you a magazine, and that one change is the whole difference.
Playing it unblocked on a school Chromebook
The game is a single HTML5 page exported from Construct 2 — no plugin, no installer, no account, no download, which is why it turns up on "unblocked" lists. It saves gold, unlocked stages and every upgrade to localStorage under keys prefixed SA0220, so a locked-down Chromebook keeps your progress exactly like a gaming PC. Clear your site data and it starts over.
Two warnings. An interstitial ad plays before a stage loads, with a countdown of around twenty seconds and a skip button. And it is landscape only: on an upright phone you get a rotate-your-screen prompt instead of a swamp.
More defence and shooting games
Start with Kingdom Tower Defense — same publisher, same engine, no ammunition at all, which makes the contrast obvious within one wave. For something with more moving around, try Warfare Area or Stickman Gun Shooter 3D. Hunter Assassin swaps firepower for hiding, and Bandits Bane is the fantasy end of the same idea. The rest are in the shooting category.
How to play Swamp Attack Online
- Hold the mouse button anywhere in the swamp to aim and fire. The gun follows your cursor inside the porch arc; on a touchscreen, hold anywhere in the water.
- Let go to reload. One second after you stop firing, your character starts loading. There is no key for it.
- Switch weapons with 1, 2 and 3 — shotgun, assault rifle, flamethrower. Only the shotgun starts unlocked.
- Throw with Q, W, E and R — dynamite, fridge, paper plane, acid rain. Only dynamite starts unlocked.
- Spend the gold between stages. Lose and you keep half of what you collected; win and you keep all of it.
Five things the game does not tell you:
- Switching weapons cancels a reload. Shotgun empty and something already on the steps? Press 2 or 3 rather than stand there loading shells.
- The shotgun fires five pellets, not one. Its damage is split across all five inside a ±7° cone, so the closer the target, the more of it lands.
- Dynamite does not aim. Press Q and the sticks land somewhere between 300 and 800 pixels to your right, with a 180-pixel blast. Crowd clearance, not a sniper tool.
- The raccoon in the canoe is what kills you. Six health, the least in the game, but speed 100 and 20 damage every half second once it arrives. Kill it in the water.
- The fridge slows every enemy on screen, not only the ones near it: 8 seconds at 0.6 speed at level one, 12 seconds at 0.3 maxed.

FAQ
Is Swamp Attack Online the same as Swamp Attack?
No. Swamp Attack Online is a browser game published by Kiz10 in March 2020. Swamp Attack is a mobile game credited on Google Play to Moving Eye, released in 2014, with over 100 million downloads, 510 levels and more than 90 monsters. They share a premise and a name, but they are different games by different companies, and this page is about the Kiz10 one.
How do you reload in Swamp Attack Online?
There is no reload key. Stop firing and, one second later, your character starts loading on its own. The shotgun goes in one shell at a time, roughly every 0.7 seconds, and firing again interrupts it — you keep the shells you already loaded.
How many levels does Swamp Attack Online have?
Eighteen, unlocked one at a time and only by winning. Stages 1 to 4 are set in daylight, 5 to 8 at dusk and 9 to 18 at night. Beating stage 18 unlocks Endless Mode, which keeps sending tank bosses until you die.
What is the best weapon in Swamp Attack Online?
The shotgun, for one reason that nothing in the game tells you — it is the only weapon with an unlimited ammunition reserve. The assault rifle and the flamethrower carry between one and five magazines or tanks per stage, and once those run out that weapon is dead until the next stage.
How do you unlock the rifle and the flamethrower?
By buying the first level of their damage upgrade, 400 gold each. Until you do, both icons stay greyed out with a padlock. The fridge, the paper plane and the acid rain work the same way but cost 1,000 gold each.
What is the boss in Swamp Attack Online?
A tracked tank with 500 health, a cannon that fires every ten seconds and a machine gun that fires every five. While it is alive it also spawns a random ordinary enemy every two seconds, so you cannot simply ignore the swamp and shoot the tank. It is worth 250 gold, and stage 18 is a fight against a single one.
Does Swamp Attack Online have cheats?
The developers left their debug keys in the build. On the menus, the spacebar sets your unlocked level to 18, and the A key raises every upgrade to level 5. They work, and they will empty the game of everything interesting in about four seconds.
Who made Swamp Attack Online?
Kiz10, a browser games publisher. No development studio is credited anywhere in the build or on the distributor's listing. The same publisher's Kingdom Tower Defense runs on the same Construct 2 project — the swamp build still ships the older game's menu music under its original file name.
