Parkour Games
The heaviest theme we measure — 9.8 MB against 6.5 — because a city is expensive and a rooftop is a city.
42 games · hand-picked, then filled from the catalogue
Parkour games are the heaviest thing we measure.
How this list is put together
The median download on this page is 9.8 MB, against 7.8 MB across the whole catalogue, and the reason is structural rather than sloppy. A parkour game is a game about a place. You need the rooftops, the gaps between them, the air conditioning units to vault, the street far enough below to be frightening. The setting is not scenery here — it is the level design — and a city costs megabytes in a way that a black starfield does not.
For contrast: the space games on this site have a median of 1.8 MB. Same browser, same distributor, five times the weight, because one genre needs a world and the other needs a void.
Two games are hiding under one word
Route-choosing games, which is what parkour actually means: a rooftop with four ways off it, and the good players find the one you did not see. These are the 3D ones and the heavy ones.
Timing games, which are runners with a parkour costume: one path, arriving faster. Stickman games mostly live here, and they are the ones you can pick up in ten seconds.
Both are on this page because separating them would leave two thin pages, but they are different pleasures and the cards say which is which.
The fall is the mechanic
Every game here is built on the same asymmetry: climbing takes minutes and falling takes a second. That is why the genre produced the "only up" idea — a tower assembled out of junk where one bad jump sends you back to the beginning — and why watching someone else play it is more popular than playing it.
If that sounds unpleasant, it partly is. The games that handle it best put a checkpoint where the difficulty steps up; the ones that do not are the ones with the comment sections. We have kept the honest ones at the top of the page.
What we did not put here
Climbing games. A search for parkour turns up dozens of hill-climb driving games, because "climb" is in their titles, and none of them has anything to do with moving a body across a roof. They live in driving games, which is where they belong.

What makes a game a parkour game rather than a runner?
You choose the route. An endless runner gives you a corridor and asks for timing; a parkour game gives you a rooftop and several ways down, and the interesting part is picking one. In practice the line is blurry and this page holds both.
Why are they so big to download?
Because the setting is the game. The median parkour game here downloads 9.8 MB against 6.5 for the catalogue as a whole — the heaviest theme we have measured. You cannot run across a city without shipping a city.
Do they work on a phone?
Six of the thirty-four are marked for touch. Precision jumping wants a keyboard, and most of these were built for one.
Is «Only Up» the same game everybody plays?
No. The name belongs to a game that became famous and then disappeared; what you find in browser catalogues, here included, are separate games built on the same idea — climb a tower of junk without falling. Same feeling, different authors.
Do I need an account?
No. Nothing on this page asks for one and nothing installs.
